Withdrawn Term
A withdrawn term is a term, such as a class or a property, that was once part of a vocabulary but has been withdrawn from it by the maintainers of that vocabulary, and is therefore no longer listed among the vocabulary's terms. This differs from a deprecated term, which remains listed but carries a discouragement to use it in new data: a withdrawn term is hidden from the vocabulary's term listings altogether. The defining nanopublication of a withdrawn term is not retracted, so the term stays resolvable and existing data referring to it keeps its meaning. Withdrawal is expressed on the term itself, in the same way as owl:DeprecatedClass, and is reversible: publishing a new version of the definition without this type reinstates the term. A term can be both deprecated and withdrawn.
