This service makes sensitive data FAIR without making it open, following the principle "as open as possible, as closed as necessary." The FAIR Digital Object (RO-Crate) keeps its metadata openly Findable while declaring an ODRL access policy — via the hasPolicy property — describing in machine-actionable form the conditions under which the data may be used; access is granted only under authentication and authorisation (FAIR principle A1.2).
