Over the years, the CLARIN infrastructure has developed a set of requirements for datasets and their metadata. These requirements are vetted by the CLARIN Technical Centre Committee in the Checklist for CLARIN B-Centres. To become a CLARIN B centre, a candidate centre does a self-assessment, which gets reviewed by the CLARIN Assessment Committee resulting, in general, in successfully being granted the B centre status. This procedure is repeated every 3 years.
